ne of your first steps in deciding to build a custom home is to identify your priorities.
• Why do you want to build a custom home?
• What are your design priorities?
• What is essential to you and what can you give up, if necessary?
Once you are clear about your own goals, you are ready to consider your options. These include the following goods and services which we believe to be important:
QUALITY DESIGN
The design of your home is probably the most important aspect of the project because it adds the most value to your home. Visit DESIGN for detailed information about our design philosophy and process.
QUALITY COMPONENTS
We all know that a quality product, although usually more expensive initially, is a better long-term value because it uses higher quality materials and standards. A better quality product retains its value longer, requires less maintenance and often works better than its cheaper counterpart. For this reason we use higher quality materials in our component package. They may cost more initially, but we think it's worth the small extra investment and so do our customers.
As we go through the design process with you, we will suggest finish materials that will give you the best value for your budget, based on your goals and priorities.
To some people (young families on a budget, for example) having more space in their home is more important than enjoying the highest quality. A Sunlight home is probably not the best option for them.
